Licensing Terms

When you buy a licence on The Energy Desk Media you receive the right to use the licensed file according to the terms below. You buy a licence to use the image or video — not ownership of the copyright (except where an exclusive buyout is purchased).

Standard licence

• A non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual right to use the file for your stated purpose (editorial, marketing, presentations, web, and similar).
• Delivered in the format you purchased (high-resolution JPEG or 16-bit TIFF).
• The asset remains available for others to licence. You may not resell or redistribute the file itself as stock.

Exclusive buyout

• The asset is removed from our library and licensed exclusively to you.
• Delivered as the 16-bit TIFF master.
• Final once delivered (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy).

Attribution & restrictions

Attribution is appreciated but not required unless stated on the asset. You may not use licensed content in a way that is unlawful, defamatory, or that misrepresents the people or places depicted.
